He has indeed been replaced by a snowman. It shouldn't be a hard fix.

this wouldn't be the first time Murro has disappeared upon redecoration.
Anet sometimes forgets when new NPC's get added to a town when it's regular, to then put them back into the previous year's redecorations (ie, when they 'push the button') |
